Jennifer Harrison - Lyrics and book

​

Jennifer Harrison, who is primarily a director/choreographer, has worked on an array of productions in the world of musical theatre. Since writing the lyrics and book for Halls, Jennifer has been approached to write lyrics for several other projects, including an album of songs for children's TV. Jennifer has always been passionate about musical theatre and is excited to be able to take Halls to the next stage.

George Stroud - Music and book

 

George Stroud is a composer with a lot of versatile projects under his belt; he has written production music for TV and additional cues for feature films as well as writing a ballet and having several MD credits to his name. George has wanted to write a musical since he can remember and is thrilled to be doing it alongside Jennifer. 

Richard Morris - Music Supervision and orchestration

Richard graduated in 2012 from The University of Nottingham, gaining a BA(hons) in music.

 

He has worked extensively in Theatre, TV and Radio as Musical Supervisor, Director, Co-ordinator, Arranger and/or Orchestrator. 

 

His theatre credits include: Heathers (Theatre Royal Haymarket, The Other Palace, UK Cast Recording), Evita (Phoenix Theatre, UK tour, European tour), The Glenn Miller Story (London Coliseum, UK tour), Ghost (MDM Theatre Moscow, Theatre Mogador Paris, UK tour, European tour), Berlin, Berlin (Admiralspalast Theatre, German Tour), Unmasked (Papermill Playhouse), On Your Feet (London Coliseum, UK tour), Curtains (Wyndhams Theatre, UK tour) American Idiot (Arts Theatre, UK tour), Blood Brothers (UK tour), Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds (Dominion Theatre), The Pirate Queen (London Coliseum) Cabaret (UK tour), La Cage Aux Folles (UK tour), Saturday Night Fever (UK tour), Avenue Q (UK tour), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (UK tour), Sound Of Music (UK tour), Jesus Christ Superstar (UK tour, European tour), Starlight Express (UK tour, East Asia tour).

 

Richard also works as Music Manager for The Really Useful Group working on productions such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (London Palladium) & Evita (Regents Park).

 

He has served as Musical Director on numerous BBC radio and television programmes, such as The One Show, The Andrew Marr Show, Woman’s Hour, The Radio 2 Arts Show etc. and his orchestrations have been performed by numerous orchestras in major venues, worldwide.

ANDY FICKMAN - DIRECTOR

Andy Fickman is an award-winning director, writer, and producer, working in the television, feature and theatre worlds. He’s currently directing and executive producing the Disney Channel Original film CHRISTMAS AGAIN. He recently directed and executive produced the forthcoming Netflix/NASCAR series THE CREW, starring Kevin James who he directed and executive produced alongside during the run of CBS/Sony TV’s series KEVIN CAN WAIT. His latest feature was Paramount Pictures/Nickelodeon hit movie PLAYING WITH FIRE, starring John Cena, Keegan Michael-Key, Judy Greer, and John Leguizamo. 

 

Andy directed the Emmy-award winning movie musical REEFER MADNESS for Showtime based on the stage show he also directed both in Los Angeles and New York City. Since then, he developed, directed and produced the smash hit HEATHERS THE MUSICAL (based on the 1989 cult classic), which had successful runs in Los Angeles, New York City and most recently broke box office records on The West End in London where it was produced by Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and won the What’s On Stage award for Best New Musical. Currently, Andy is preparing for the UK Tour of HEATHERS THE MUSICAL, developing a musical based on the beloved romantic comedy 13 GOING ON 30, and is directing the original, London-based musical HALLS.

 

Fickman’s past feature credits include: the smash hit PARENTAL GUIDANCE from 20th Century Fox / Walden Media, SHE’S THE MAN for Dreamworks / Paramount which won a Teen Choice Award for Best Comedy, Sony’s PAUL BLART: MALL COP 2, and a trio of hit films for Disney: YOU AGAIN, RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN and the ESPY-nominated THE GAME PLAN all featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

 

Fickman also directed and produced all four seasons of his Emmy-award winning Disney Channel series LIV AND MADDIE through his production company Oops Doughnuts Productions. Fickman has also helmed episodes of NO GOOD NICK, AUSTIN & ALLY, THE ODD COUPLE, RECOVERY ROAD, ALIENS IN AMERICA and HELLCATS.

ANDREW EXETER - DESIGNER

​

Andrew is a Production Set + Lighting Designer based in London. He was a 2020 Stage Debut Award nominee for his Lighting Design on High Fidelity at the Turbine Theatre.

Charles Severs - Producer

​

Corporate lawyer in the city of London with a love of music and musical theatre. Avid theatre goer and producer of music events. This is Charles’ first London production and he is delighted to be learning from and working with George and Jennifer on Halls.
